Most of you who know me well, will know I always have 101 things on my to do list, and I flit between hobby to craft and back again, but within this I want to celebrate my one constant – my love for books. So kicked off my competition and today I chose a winner, I cannot wait to hear from them and share my book with them.

In today’s digital era, with new ways of interacting the digital world being created everyday, this fresh take on a social media obsessed thirty something is an amazing read. After realising her life is in disarray, Daisy agrees to a digital detox with her sister, whom has her own agenda for escaping life. The obsession with everything digital and social media is the crux of the story, it is what drives everything from beginning to end, and I think it is genius, comedic outlook on what our digital obsesses future may look like.

*Book Review* The Hidden Oracle (The Trials of Apollo, #1)

Egotistical, narcissistic, selfish and self-absorbed and yet, you can’t help but love Apollo in this brilliant follow up to the Percy Jackson series. Instead of focussing on demi-gods, this story follows Apollo, once the mighty son of Zeus whom carried his flaming chariot across the heavens, is now dropped to earth as a human, and not just any human, a teenage boy with acne! Apollo’s worst nightmare.
